Hi Linda. BBT is confusing, believe me. It make take a couple months of charting to figure out what your charts are doing. I wouldn't worry about the temp jumping so much on the 2nd day of temping. Usually, the temps go up and down, a few tenths or so anyway. You could have had a restless night the night before or have had more covers than normal. Alcohol can raise your temp, too. I wouldn't worry about it. Just keeping charting. You'll start to see how things go as you continue doing it. The important time to chart is around ovulation so you know when you have ovulated. There is a great book out that helps with so many questions. Taking Charge of Your Fertilty by Toni Weschler. I highly recommend it.

Best of luck to you! OH, and also check your cervical mucas. That is the best way to know when you are ovulating. Take care.
