I would like to know what a doctor here thinks. According to the literature, your doctor is correct. By definition, peterm labor cannot be diagnosed prior to 20 weeks. Irritability, on the other hand may be feeling what others dont feel but may be going on all the time. The idea that oral Terbutaline helped with bedrest (studies have shown over the last 25 years we have not changed the rate of preterm deliveries from preterm labor despite the therapy) speaks more to irritability or contractions everyone gets but most don't feel. Good luck and feel well.
