Hi Doctors,

I am currently 12 weeks post-partum. I had bleeding up until 6 weeks. >From 6-8 weeks I spotted. At 8 weeks I had an IUD inserted and bled for 1 week. I had no bleeding week nine. At week 10, I started my period which lasted 1 week. I then had no bleeding, spotting for 1 week but am now spotting again. I am breastfeeding.

I have read the archives and i know that the irregular bleeding is common with breastfeeding and the use of an IUD. My question is, should I ever be concerned with the irregular bleeding? It doesn't bother me but I didn't know if irregular bleeding can be a sign of something else going on. I know that if I am bleeding heavily then I should be seen but I am not.
