Reply: Melissa: "Re: Usually regular, but not this month- why?" I am 23 yrs old, a virgin, and not on BC. I have always had a regular 28 day cycle since I began my period at 13 yrs. I usually have three days of cramps, followed by three days of nothing and then I get my period. I have a heavy flow and cramps on the first day. My period usually lasts 4-5 days, gradually lightening in flow. However, this month while I did start on schedule, I had no cramps and a very light flow. This has gone on for over a week. Today (day 9) I began a heavier flow- but not as heavy as my usual first day. I'll post more as it occurs. What may have caused this change?
