Re: PCOS and cysts bursting?From: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 25 Sep 2003 18:29:51 -0500 (CDT)
I have this. Usually happened every 3 months for me until I started doing fertility (which now it is every month) Basically i went to the Er and they tried to tell me I had Chlymdia. I went to my OBGYN the monday after and she said it was just me ovulating and the ER dr was totally wrong. Some women feel themselves ovulate. I've found it more common in PCOS women though. Also, cysts on your ovaries that rupture can be bigger and can hurt. Hope this helps!! I usually climb into the bath and take a extremely warm bath and pop a couple motrin. In about 2-3 hours the pain subsides but I am tender for about 2 days! =) Good luck!
