basal temp questionFrom: C (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 24 Sep 2003 07:36:25 -0500 (CDT)
I just discovered this website yesterday and already received very helpful information - thank you to those who responded to my inquiry. I just became aware of FAM and Toni Weschler's book on natural fertility. I started charting my basal temp in the morning on Sept. 15th (that was the 28th day of my cycle). I have always had a "normal" temp in the 98.3 range during the day. Anyway, these were my temps for the 28th through 32nd day of my cycle (still haven't gotten a period, but not pregnant - done 2 home tests): 97.5, 97.3, 97.9, 97.8, 97.7. Then on the 33rd day until today (37th) it's been 97.3 for 5 days in a row! I've double and triple checked my thermometer; it's working fine. This 97.3 is freaking me out! Has anyone else experienced this after going off the pill- I went off 4 months ago - had a "period" at day 28, 31, 33, and now waiting for something to occur! I'm wondering if this consistent basal temp has anything to do with this, and if this temp is indictive of PCOS in anyone's experience. Thanks for the feedback.
