Hi, I am new here. I was diagnosed 2 years ago but due to moves on both mine and my doctor's part I am no longer able to go to the doctor that diagnosed me. At the time I was put on BCP and sent away, but at least I was diagnosed. I've since been through two doctors and can't seem to get them to believe me, they do tests (random cycle days while on BCP) and then say that everything is OK. Of course it is, from everything that I have read while on the web, the BCPs surpress my LH and Testosterone. I am demanding an IGTT this time and not just the glucose test, but anyone know any sources that I can show the latest doctor that I am going to that I shouldn't be on BCPs when tested and that the glucose test doesn't necessarily show IR? Perferrably from a source that they will believe?
