Clomid is anti-estrogenic, so it helps women with PCOS develop follicles and hopefully ovulate but it can interfere with building up the lining in some women. Hopefully the doctor is right and the lining gets thicker after ovulation. Some fertility specialists add extra estrogen inserted into the vagina while on clomid to conteract clomid's effects, but this can sometimes interfere with the development of the follicles. If you have to undergo another cycle (which of course I hope you do not) you can discuss this with them. Good luck! >
