And now I have discovered there are alot more of you with the same situation! I am so glad to have found this web site, I was going mad and no-one seemed to understand. Anyway, story is pcos since 14 (now 32) problem periods for years, told in 1994 that it was early menopause and wouldn't be able to have kids so no point in using contraceptive, fell pregnant immediately. periods seemed normal after birth of daughter until 2000, then started bleeding constantly, coil fitted 2001, lost 3 stone but still a constant period, tried the pill (micronor) still constant, upped dose to 2, still constant, tried another pill (neogest) still constant but heavier so back to micronor. Thyroid then became low, began to put weight back on and now on thyroxine. Have seen endo who has just given me 25 mg aldactone for mass of facial and body hair. But what about weight and constant periods. And I am frightened about side affects of aldactone. Is there an end to it all?
