That is how it started for me. I got a period about a month after starting the meds, it was light and lasted about four days. It was more than a month before I got my next period and it took about nine or ten months for my periods to regulate and now they come every 32 days and are very normal. Don't stress yourself out if it takes a while to get regular, it will happen.
