possible PCOSFrom: cheli (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 12 Sep 2003 10:53:07 -0500 (CDT)
I just yesterday learned that possibly I have PCOS, but my blood count that checks your adrenal glands is over 400 so I had to have another blood test done and will be having a cat scan done on my kidneys to make sure there are no tumors there. I have had classic symptoms of PCOS for several years now from ovarian cysts which required surgery, 1 miscarriage, infertility, we’ve tried for 6 years, did the BCP thing “to rest my ovaries”, weight gain in my mid section, anxiety attacks, heart palpatations, brown areas of skin, boils around my groin area or thighs, I could just go on and on. What makes this even harder is that my husband is active duty military on a remote tour in South Korea so I am alone to deal with this. I guess I am just looking for some kind of support or communication, I am very emotional as I write this and feel so cheated about all of this. If anyone could give me any insight to all of this or what should be expected I would greatly appreciate it, thanking you in advance. Cheli
