I had my first boil about two months ago, and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. It was on the back of my theigh, I thought it was a pimple at first. After about a week no head came up, and it was getting larger and more painful, to the point where I had a lot of trouble sitting, forget comfortably. After two weeks I finally showed my mother, she said it was a boil and we went to the doctor the next day. I was prescribed antibiotics, and from there it drained on it's own, after a week I was ok. Now there is still a scab/scar. But since this one boil, I have had an extremely bad case of pimples on my butt! I don't even get them this bad on my face! Right now there several, over 10, red, swelling painful bumbs, one of them I am sure is another boil. I don't understand why this is happening, I washed all my sheets, towels, clothes after the first boil and I usually bathe thouroughly twice a day with antibacterial soap. I am only 17 years old, and I am very ashamed and embarassed. I've maintained the same sex partner for the past two years; unless he is cheating on me I see no way this could be an STD. Sex with him, though, has ceased, since I am too ashamed and often in too much pain to enjoy it. I don't know what is wrong with me, why this is happening, and I have never heard of PCOS. I am going to the doctor soon, but if anyone could give me ANY clue as to what the hell is happening to my body, I would really appreciate it. bulletwithwings2@yahoo.com . Thanks.
