Re: Can Anyone Share Depo Provera Shot Experience

I was on Depo-Provera for the 2 years before I had my son and then for a
year after he was born. My periods ceased after the first month on the
shot, however, I suffered severe weight gain and depression that
required medication. I have sinced had a copper IUD inserted (NO
HORMONES) and I feel so much better. I no longer have depression and my
weight gain has ceased. My periods are pretty regular but are a little
more crampy then they used to be. With all of my health issues I felt
that this would be the best thing for me.
