Re: Hot Flashes and Anxiety

I got rid of the hot flashes by going on the pill (Demulen). And I got rid of the anxiety by going on glucophage and eating low carb (I guess my anxiety was due to the up and down insulin/glucose levels going on in my body all day long).

I tried black cohosh a long time ago back in the days when I did not know I had pcos or even knew what it was. It made me feel worse, but then again, probably because it was not the answer to the real problems I was having. If you are already doing all you can with diet and medication for your pcos, maybe the black cohosh will help you. Can't hurt to give it a try, right?
