I had pretty much the same thing when I made my first appointment with
my Endo. They asked pretty much the same questions and I almost felt as
if I was bothering them and when I first saw the endo I thought I was
not going to like him very well...It was almost like he couldn't
understand how I came to decide on my own that I needed this testing and
I was under the impression that he felt that I was just looking for an
excuse for my weight. But in the end he found that I do indeed have
PCOS and he is now very responsive.
I would say give the doc a chance and if after the initial visit they
are still snotty, then find someone that you are happy with; we pay way
too much money for our medical care to be disrespected.
