-- I have been getting boils for about 2 years now and I get atleast one every other month if not 1 a month. I have talked to my obgyn about these and he told me that I get them because of my PCOS and being overweight. He said the main cause, being overweight. The best thing I have found for drawing them to a head quick is by placing a warm slice of tomato on it for 20 to 30 minutes three times a day. Within 2 days it is drawn to a head when it is finally at a head I sterilize a needle and poke a small hole and it starts draining for about 3 or 4 days. It's nice to know I'm not the only one who gets these darn things. Thanks Cherlyn
