Embarrassed at School!

I just started pharmacy tech school this week and we have to wear scrubs, and I thought it would be cool, but then it was time to go buy the scrubs. Too tight in the belly and too loose everywhere else! One pair even tore when I sat down in school today between the waistline and the pocket on the leg! I was so mortified! When I sit down, my scrubs scrunch up too big around my shoulders and too tight on my belly. I'm not sure there's much I can do either. If I buy a pattern to make my own scrubs, they'll still be incorrectly proportioned and I don't know enough about sewing to fix a pattern so it fits better. The larger the scrubs are (so they fit around my belly) the bigger they make me look! I'm already a 26/28 and it turns out to be a 3X-4X in scrubs. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm so bummed about school because my "required" clothing doesn't fit properly.
