KEEP trying Re: C-Peptide TestFrom: Ron (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 28 Aug 2003 07:38:51 -0500 (CDT)
Hi Kristy, Some docs are not comfortable in interpreting the C Peptide test becuse it might conflict with their treatment of diabetes with insulin injection. If you have a high C Petide and a high insulin, (without injections) then taking injections proves that you may be taking them for no good reason. If your blood sugar is low after eating, your high C peptide can confuse things. Do a yahoo search on C Peptide and start reading. Then check out a few more docs by phone. Most office staff will know if their boss does C Peptide tests. Good luck Ron ------------------------------------------
