Hi, Lissy. I understand some of what you're going through. I have been diagnosed within the last six months. My doctor recently told me to drink alot of water (Whatever your weight, divide that by two...that's how many ounces of water that your body requires.), walk at least thirty minutes per day and don't eat any carbs. So far I've lost a mere five pounds, but I've just started. Good luck.
