I am 25 years old and this weekend the doctor did laparoscopic surgery and found out I have both a titled uterus and polycystic ovaries. I have never had really problems with being overweight. I had alot of acne as a teenager. I do have irregualar period though. My first question is is there a difference between having polycystic ovaries and having polycystic ovarian syndrome? I was reading about PCOS and I saw about the insulin levels so that is why I was curious if there was a difference? My second question is I want to get pregnant in about a year. Is there anything I can do now do begin to prepare my body for pregnancy? Can someone please shed some light on these questions.
