PCOS?

Hi, I hope someone here can help me. I realized recently that I have some of the symptoms of PCOS. First of all, I am overweight and have trouble losing weight. Also, over the past couple of years my periods have become very short (less than a day and a half) and very light, I have had increased acne, and a lot of dark hair growth on my chin and other areas. I recently went to my gynecologist and had bloodwork done to check my hormone levels. Well, after a week and a half went by and I had not heard anything from her, I called the office yesterday morning. The receptionist told me that my FSH and glucose levels were normal, but then a nurse got on and said my testosterone levels were elevated. She said she would pull my chart and the doctor would call me back. At this point, I have yet to hear from my doctor. I do not want to be an annoying patient, but I am becoming slightly concerned. I will call back tomorrow, but in the meantime, what do you think this test might mean for me. Could this be PCOS? Or just a problem with my testosterone levels? What would the next step be? Thank you in advance for your help!!
