Ruptures of Ovarian Cysts/ PCOS with indigestion?

I am 25. I've been told I have ovarian cysts by my doctor and had them scanned. Initially one was 5cm, but on my next visit to the doctor it had shrunk, and there seemed no cause for concern. However, it's now about 2 years later and yesterday I had bad indigestion (which I never usually suffer from)followed by painful knotting cramps in my ovaries, which made me tearful and became painful to move, lasting all evening. I still have some pain in the ovaries today and I wondered if I had experienced an ovary (or both) rupturing or twisting? How can you tell? This is the second time it has happened in two years.
