Here is the short version.... I was just diagnosed with PCOS 2 wks. ago...I have a lot of questions...have always had a lot of problems with my cycle and have been on birth control for 13 years...I am now trying to conceive and that is how they found my problem...I am 28 years old, 5 ft. 2in and weigh 116 lbs. I am confused because I do not have any of the typical symptoms that I am reading about besides not being able to menstruate which is causing my infertility. My OB put me on Provera to help start my cycle and will start Clomid this week...Can someone tell me if this is normal??? Should I get a second opionion??? Should I be seeing a fertility specialist??? Anyone with any insight please share...I am so confused and not really sure what to think about all of this.
