feeling worse after glucophage

I thought I was feeling pretty bad before I started the glucophage but not I feel 10 times worse. I am on my 5th week now, shouldn't my body be use to it by now? And if this is as good as it gets why continue with it? I have stomach upset all the time. The only time I feel good is if I mis a dose or am late on one. And I am far more tired now then I have ever been. I was able to at least do regualar work outs before going on it and now I am lucky just to do my regular chores. I can't seem to get enough sleep. I can sleep for hours and wake up still very tired. Is this a normal side effect? And will glucophage help me to have a period? If so, how long does it take? I'm just so tired of feeling so helpless. I worked off 40lbs. was pretty small, no periods, gained it back no periods, lost another 30, gained back 20 of that. Lost 5 in the 5 weeks of being on gloucophage. I am finding it harder to lose weight with the glucophage then I ever did without it. And does weight really matter? It never seems to make any difference in my cycle when I am slimmer. Anyone with any suggestions I would appreciate. Thanks!
