Previous message: Joanne: "Re: Amy is here at last!" I have been diagnosed with PCOS for several years. I really did not see it as a problem before I wanted to conceive. I have very few symptoms really--only no periods and a few extra facial hairs. I have never,luckily, had a weight problem. My question--I was able to conceive last year on Clomid. I had a missed AB( no heartbeat) but I never had bleeding or cramping. The Dr. did do a D&C. I have become pregnant again this year while taking injections.I am fearful of another miscarriage. I have heard about treatment with Metforin to help with miscarriage, but my Dr. has said my tests show I am not insulin resistant so this would not help me. What are my chances of having another "Missed AB" Are they the same as for the regular population since my insulin levels are normal. Please give me any insight you might have. Thanks alot!
