Christy,

I was seven years old when I was diagnosed with Polycystic ovaries, during an appendix operation. Turns our my appendix was fine, but I had cysts that has burst and bled, thus, the pain. And the biopsy/lab tests diagnosed the PCO.

I started having symptoms like yours, when I was your age.

No, you are not too young to have PCO, you are not too young to have PCOS, and you are certainly not too young to take the best care possible of your health! Do as everyone else here has said, and get yourself to an endocrinologist! You deserve the best possible care, to help insure your future fertility, and to get possible insulin resistance problems under control, and hopefully to deal with any weight gain or other health/cosmetic issues that this syndrome can cause. Don't take no for an answer. What's happening with your cycle is not healthy.

Good luck! And stick to your guns!
