my gyno told me something about that on my last visit, she was a new doctor that i went to because i moved and i was surprised about how much she knew about PCOS. she told me that when i wanted to start having kids that i should try right after i stop taking the birth control, she said that it makes your body want to ovulate when you stop taking it, she said it works like clomid. so what you're doctor is having you do will probably make you ovulate with three different ways people use.
