Re: What other treatment options are avaliable for POCSFrom: Michelle (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 15 Aug 2003 22:44:46 -0700 (PDT)
cindy get another doctor. Try to get into an endocrinologist. Don't let your doctor tell you birth control is the only answer because that's so wrong. Call around and when choosing a doctor if it's not an endo ask if they are familiar with pcos because alot of doctor's are not really educated on pcos for some reason. I know things can be frustrating but don't give up. You basically have to take control and say you know this isn't working for me so let's move onto what will. Usually you would be put on glucophase. Ask your doc about that. Best of luck. Michelle --- Cindy <anonymous@obgyn.net> wrote: > Hi > This is my first time here and I am very confused > about what I am > suppose to do for POCS.
