I have been going thru the same kind of pain. Below my ribs on my right side mostly towards my back. It gets worse during the night. It feels like a bruise or tenderness. At around 3 am I have to get up and walk around and when I lay down, I can't get comfortable again. I have been fighting this for almost three month. I have gone to a Gastro doctor, he has done an ultrasound, spinal x-ray, pevic and abdomal cat scan and a colonoscopy. Everything looks good. I go next Friday to discuss exploratory sugery. I am currently taking 1500 mg of Glucophage XR, 100mg of Sprinolactone, 10mg of Zocor, 80mg of Diovan, Atenolol and Orthocept for birth control. I asked if it could be all the medicine I am on, he said no, that would not create this type of pain. Has anyone else experienced this type of pain? If so, what did you do?
