Re: All my fault...and...problems reaching orgasm?From: Nada (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 13 Aug 2003 19:44:10 -0500 (CDT)
Hi Randi, PCOS won't cause you to have problems having orgasms. But, feeling depressed and crappy and guilty and stressed out over PCOS definitly will!!! Lots of people who are coping with all kinds of fertility problems, not just PCOS have a really hard time having a happy, sexy relationship with passion and orgasms. Please don't feel like you are "faulty" or "fucked up". I have been there with this disease, and while I know the feeling are very real, they also rob you of precious time in your life, and happiness, and love, and enjoyment of the things you do. Yes, you have a medical condition that makes it hard for you to get pregnant. But you are not "at fault" and your husband and family should not blame you for it, and you shouldn't let it ruin your self esteem. It might take a while to get over the stress and anger and depression that PCOS can cause, but you need to work at being good to yourself and giving yourself a break. Then the passion and orgasms will reappear.
