My doctor put me on Metformin almost 3 months ago and it hasn't changed anything. Because of my employment/insurance situation, I had to switch doctors and this one said they never should have put me on it to begin with. It doesn't seem to help acne or hair growth either, if those are problems for you. Hope this helps.
