Insulin not blood sugar. Also, did you have an ultrasound? My test results were always normal except my insulin was high. I believe you are insulin resistant if it is over 10. Also, I have the cysts in my ovaries. I would not take the BCP's until you get a second opinion. Preferabbly from an endcrinologist. In my experience Gyno's always just want to put you on the pill & leave it at that. Also, you should have a blood test for thyroid antibodies also.Good luck.
