First, hirsutism means excessive hair growth (facial,body,etc).

As far as the cysts on the skin, it certainly can be cystic acne but you can have that without pcos.

As far as the diagnosis of pcos, have you had an ultrasound of your ovaries? You don't necessarily need to see cysts on your ovaries to have PCOS but many women wityh PCOS have cysts. As far as the LH/FSH ratio, you can have a ratio that suggests PCOS but not have the syndrome (remember, pcos is a clinical syndrome with a spectrum of signs and symptoms). Given the fact that you have regular periods and no other symptoms, you might want to get a second opinion.

The mouth ulcers must be responding to some hormonal imbalance when you get your period. I am glad to hear that you have been able to avoid them by taking your birth control pills every day.
