Usually, PCOS is associated with endometrial(Uterus) cancer which you get from the buildup of your lining from lack of periods. As long as you shed your lining regularily you should have nothing to worry about. (Poly) cysts in your ovaries are usually not the cancerous kind. They are different. Sorry but I am not good at explaining this technically.Even if you have a complete hysterectomy you will still have PCOS symptoms as it is an endocrine disorder involving much more then just your ovaries. The name is deceiving. Good luck.
