Hi Roxanne,
If you do a search on keywords: "metformin pregnancy safety" you will
come up with lots of articles. When I was pregnant before, my
endocrinologist then had put me on Insulin. Had a 2nd trimester loss,
probably nothing to do with the drugs themselves.
My current endo advised me to go on insulin when i get pregnant. Also
the chief of obstetrics at Stanford also advised the same. However my
high risk OB said ultimately its my choice.
