Ovarian cancer is a TOTALLy different issue from PCOS. I can udnerstand your concern about it and a hysterectomy or oopherectomy might be a good option in your case to deal with cancer risk, but that's something again, different, to discuss with your new gyn. A hyster won't do a darn thing for your PCOS except stop you having periods.
