You already know my answer but yes that was true for me, I also saw my blood sugar go up on it. BUT, since I hated it so much, I was only on it for a maximum of like 2 days ever at a time before always switching back to reglar Gluc. AND I hear all the time from women here that the XR works just soooo much better. So I think I'm just strange.

Since it IS the exact same medication, from the same manufacturer, I would think it wouldn't make too much of a difference symptom wise, just as far as convenience or side effects go...? But who knows!
