as for pain during intercourse, I've had no problems there, but I did have a lot of pain in my ovaries when I was in my first year of college and when I started taking the metformin, I think a lot of cysts broke free (super-ovulating after no menstruation for 2 years) because I was having a LOT of pain in the ovaries for 3-4 days, other than that..ovary pain on and off every once in a while. I believe it's pretty common...my sister in law (she has PCOS too) says she has the same ovary pain.
