The biggest clue for my doctor that I had PCOS was that my triglyceride
count was 550 when he did a complete blood analysis. He didn't know much
about the syndrome, so he put me off for a little while. In the meantime I
saw an article in Women's Health Magazine that talked about the benifits of
Glucophage for PCOS patients. I simply took the magazine to my next
appointment and asked if there was any reason why I couldn't try it. Maybe
print off one or more of the emails that you recieve from this source and
take them to your next appt. If your regular doc won't prescribe, I would
consider seeing an endocrinologist---- you won't regret it!!!! Hope this
helps!
