HELP! Dont know what to expect...... Gall bladder removal in '98, (gallstones). Always had irregular periods but as you can see, very fertile. The last two years I have noticed a huge change. Before now I was happy that I wasnt having "normal" monthly periods, but now, Im worried that missing too many periods leaves me with a huge question,"Where are those unfertilized eggs going?" and no logical answer. Last year, I may have had a total of 3 periods. This year, Ive had two so far and haven't had one since Mar.'03. I have a "milky" discharge coming from both breast when I do my anual self exam each month. Can this be breast milk? My youngest is 5yrs old. I dont have any excessive hair growth anywhere and Im not losing hair. My sexual desire is normal and there is no pain during sex. I get frequent headaches, more now than ever before. I get light-headed, faintish, with these headaches. At times I experience "abdominal" pain, its actually located behind my naval area. It feels as though Im passing something, i.e, stones. I have alot of lower back pain, but thought it was one of the side effects of having a epidural. This lower back pain radiates down the back of my legs to the heel of my feet. It hurts to walk at times. A room with a temp of 60 degrees never gets too cold for me(hot flashes?) My PCP is testing me for IBS(Irritable Bowel Syndrome) because I have symptoms of it. Im waiting on those results, but on July 31, I have a appt with a OB/GYN because I feel my PCP is overlooking my reproductive issues. What can I expect during this exam? Is there any particular questions I should ask? While searching the net, Ive found that I have some symptoms of PCOS, hyperprolactinemia, hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism.
