I'm actually on my second one, as I let my sister-in-law try it, and she liked it so much that I gave it to her. It takes me about 20 minutes to do both of my legs, from top to bottom. It is virtually painless and I hardly have any hair left on my legs after years of use. The only negative thing that I can say is that I have coarse hair on the back of my thighs, and there are always raised red bumps there now. I have not noticed that it has become any less effective over time, and I'd say I have had this one for at least three years and use it frequently.
