PCOS can lead to diabetes. BEing post menopausal should not keep you from seeking treatment. Have you considered getting a refer to see an endocrinologist??? PCOS though not curable is a treatable syndrome. I was 38 and past having children when I finaly got the help I needed and feel so much better for it.
