Diagnosed in April

Hi, first I am new to this group. I was diagnosed with PCOS in April. I have been reading everything I can on this diagnosis. I just wish that they would have discovered this problem when I was younger. I am now 36 years old, I had my galbladder taken out in February, and the book, "PCOS: The Hidden Epidemic", that I just got done reading said that a lot of the women have to have their gallbladder out due to the fact of the see-saw dieting. Has anyone else had that problem? Another question I have since I am insulin resistant am I supposed to be checking my blood sugar daily? Any answers that you have would be greatful.
