Re: PCOS with only symtoms of irregular & scanty periods and hormone imbalanceFrom: Michelle (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 26 Jul 2003 09:38:54 -0700 (PDT)
I just found out I have pcos and type 2 diabetes. I had the weight gain, excessive hair on my chin, enlarged uterous, shaky hands irregular periods, and so on. I've done alot of reading and to have pcos you don't have to have all the signs of pcos but you do have to have atleast 3 of the symptoms and they have noted that it is unlikely to have pcos if not overweigh but note there have been cases who have pcos and not the weight problem. I know hormone imbalances can cause alot of problems to your body so I would start finding a good obgyn and they'll run all the necessary blood tests and with the ultra sound and blood tests they'll know if you have pcos. Good luck.
