It is always good to take the Glucophage with a full meal, rather than a
snack, if you are having stomach problems. Also, take it with dinner
only, and work up to breakfast and lunch later on as you are getting
used to it. Don't hesitate to cut the pill in half at first and start
with an even lower dose if necessary. You can buy a pill cutter for $4
or $5 at the pharmacy to make it simple. Some women, like myself, take
a long time to get used to the medication. There's no rush.
