I started Glucophage 3 years ago and I was extremely nauseated. Then I realized that if I ate something when I felt like that, I was able to get through it. Stick to your diet plan and eat something from there. It lasted for about 4-6 weeks. Last year my endo put me on Glucophage XR which was much easier on me. I take 1000mgs after dinner. By the time the nausea crept in, it was time for bed so, I didn't notice it as much. One important thing to remember is that you shouldn't stop taking your meds! I know that you feel bad now but, once your body gets used to them you will feel alot better! Hang in there, get plenty of rest and communicate with your doctor! By the way, ginger snaps are a great reliever when you get nauseated! Just a couple though:) Good Luck!
