I don't know if you have issues with depression or are taking an anti-depressant, but if you do I would highly recommend Wellbutrin. Not only does it help the depression but it also cuts back on cravings big time, especially sweets. I used to be able to eat a couple candy bars or half a cake in one sitting when I was upset. Now, I don't usually get that upset but even if I do, I can only handle a few bites. Between the Wellbutrin and Metformin I have been able to lose weight without really trying or being hungry! I think the Metformin has had some to do with the hunger decreasing as well, but I didn't notice it until 2 1/2 months into taking it. So what you are experiencing could be short term too....I'd hang in there if I were you. Hope this helps...good luck!
