This is my first post in months. I had my daughter on 4/18/03 & she is happy & healthy. For those of you who don't remember my history. I have a 7 year old that I got pregnant for using clomid. After that, I couldn't get pregnant again. At 39 years old we gave up the thought of getting pregnant & were pursuing adoption through DSS. I've had PCOS for years but didn't know until 2/01. I went on glucophage & lost 75 lbs on weight watchers. In Sep 02 I was shocked to find out I was pregnant at 40. My pregancy was pretty easy until the last month when my bp went up & I had a lot of swelling. It all worked out alright & I now have a new daughter. Good luck to all of those that are trying to get pregnant. Glucophage worked for me.....even when I had totally given up.
