Anyone with PCOS and dry eyes?

I have PCOS and I had LASIK surgery 3 months ago, and unfortunately I'm having a huge problem with dry eyes. It's not only uncomfortable, but my vision is only clear when I first put drops in. A few minutes later I'm back to blurry, it's awful. When I was researching this I realized that I frequently got these little tiny bumps on the inside rims of my eyelids but I never knew what they were. Turns out it is called Meibomian Gland Dysfunction, which means that the tiny glands that help form the tear layer on your eyeball don't function correctly and get clogged. One of the articles I read stated that it is more common due to hormonal changes (http://webeyemd.com/faq/mgd.htm). Since we are all so blessed with crazy hormones, I'm wondering if there are many others out there with this. It's driving me crazy! I also suffer from terrible IBS and just last month my Endo cut back my Glucophage XR to 1000 mg from 2000 mg hoping it would help. Of course it hasn't.. And two of the prescription meds for IBS dry out my eyes something awful so I can't use them. I'm nearing the end of my rope!

So that's my sad little story. Just wondered if I'm alone.. ;)

Hope everyone is doing well, Tracy

p.s. Sonnet I'm so thrilled for you! I was reading that thread just before and it had me in tears! I can't wait to hear that she arrived safely and that Mommy and baby are just fine.. I'll be saying lots of prayers for you!
