Re: help for dark spots

I have one medium sized dark spot on my left cheek that looks like a freckle or a bruise depending on the light. I have been using DHC's white cream and white lotion off and on for the past 2 years. It doesn't eliminate anything, but it brightens my complexion and the spot doesn't get much darker. It has liccorice and other things in it to naturally do the lightening, but like I said, it doesn't get rid of anything, it just sort of makes it less noticeable. I started using this stuff after an African American woman swore by it. She said it brightened her skin and helped with a few pigmentation/discoloration spots, and evened her complexion; and it worked better and more gently than the other stuff that is basically skin bleach. I'm pretty pale, but it seems to work a bit on my major spot. I only use it in the summer because I already have pale enough skin in the winter and it's not as noticeable! but it's definitely a dark spot, and it's probably going to be there unless I get the damn thing lasered out.
